1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Splitzo application ("Service", "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Service. Splitzo provides a platform for tracking and splitting shared expenses among friends and groups.

2. Description of Service

Splitzo offers various features to help you manage shared expenses, including but not limited to:

• Group Management: Creating and joining groups via invite codes to manage shared expenses for trips, homes, offices, etc.
• Expense Tracking: Adding expenses with custom split types (Equal, Exact, Percentage, Shares) and keeping an ongoing history.
• Live Balances & Settlements: Automatically calculating who owes whom, requesting settlements, and recording when debts are cleared.
• Social Features: Adding friends and viewing a global activity feed.

3. User Accounts and Security

To use the Service, you must register for an account using your email (verified via OTP) or through Google Sign-In. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Splitzo supports cross-device logout for enhanced security.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Use the Service to track illicit or illegal transactions.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or network.

Splitzo is an expense tracking tool; we do not process actual money transfers. Settlements recorded in the app are for record-keeping purposes only and must be conducted externally by the users.

5. Push Notifications

By using our Service, you consent to receive push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) regarding app activities, such as new expenses, balance changes, and settlement requests. You may disable these notifications in your device settings.

6. Third-Party Services and Advertising

Our App uses third-party services, including Google Cloud/Firebase for authentication and Google AdMob for monetization. AdMob serves various ad formats (Banner, Medium Rectangle, Interstitial) within the app. Your interaction with these advertisements is governed by the respective third-party privacy policies.

7. Termination and Account Deletion

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you must send an email request to jblaheri@gmail.com or tusharvaghasiya369@gmail.com from your registered email address. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Splitzo makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculated balances or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Splitzo or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
